Hi everyone,

Bought my tour the day it came out, LOVE IT, but the chrome bands separating the rows on the keyboard have already begun to peel and chip away on my phone! I havent dropped it, have kept it in a case, and have barely let anyone touch it. and I'm pretty furious about it.

Any advice? Has anyone had this problem? What are the chances if I ***** and moan to verizon they'll send me a new phone?

Take it into the store, so they can see what the issue is and they will replace it. That's not normal.

It's less than 30 days old so you can just bring it back and they will replace it - well Sprint would anyway.

Mine is doing the same thing just above the R and T keys. I'm scared to take it back to verizon though as it has been perfect otherwise. I've done nothing but baby the phone too.

Mine was made in Canada, how about yours?

How can you tell if your phone was made in canada or not? Is there something with the serial numbers like on a VIN of a car that tells you? I.e if your vin starts with a 1 its USA 2 its canada 3 its mexico W its germany J is japann etc etc

Why are you panicking over a phone?

All the keyboards are made the same way. Maybe the paint on this one didn't get enough time to dry or something. You never know. Unless you're a psychic, you really won't know until you have one.
