Open up your clock, hit the menu button, go to options. Change the 'when charging' field to be 'display clock'

I wish there was a way to make the clock more dim! I like bedside mode, but the clock is still too bright for me.

    I don't need the nightlight!

ugh screen blanked in 30seconds.. got to be an option somewhere to keep the clock showing ALL THE TIME (while charging) right?

I see an option under screen/keyboard for backlight timeout, but guessing that means all the time, not just while charging... even then... max option is 10min

After how long? I just changed my settings to display clock while plugged in and its been running over 2 minutes without dimming out.

Also, why not modify the Bedside Mode settings in your clock options? You can set the 'Dim Screen' to no.

really? 30seconds for me and it's dim... just downloaded LEAVE IT ON and it seems to work great. First option is "backlight on while charging". Yours still not dim?

I kept it on for about 5 minutes and it never dimmed. Strange.

The problem with all these keep the lights on programs is they seem to simulate a keypress cause they will cause fake acknowledgments in programs like BB Alerts and BerryBuzz hence rendering the reminders useless. Does anyone know of a way around this or a set of programs (or one single program) that is capable of doing this?

i.e. missed sms/call/voicemail reminder and a keep the screen on during various conditions?

I appreciate your suggestion, but i'm looking for a solution that doesn't include switching modes, etc.
