    I just recieved a replacement Tour and after backing up the old one, activating the new one and restoring it I am not getting my email to the new phone. Did I miss something? I use Gmail. Also I am not getting FB notifications but that makes sense if I am not getting email.

    Log in to your BIS and use the Change Device function.

    Resend your Service Books.

    I had to log in and redo it on my replacement. it was "there" but I had to reset it.
    I had to resend the service books as well. why doesn't that make sense? it is a different device

    BIS = BlackBerry Internet Service https://bis.na.blackberry.com/html?brand=vzw&locale=en

    Log in. If you don't know the user name and password, you probably need to contact your Customer Service for them to reset them for you.

    Then click on Change Device and enter the information for the new device.
    Then if necessary, click Help and click Send Service Books.

    Or go to the Email Settings icon on the device. Log in. Press the Menu button. Click Service Books. Click Send Service Books.
