First of all I have to say that I just got the tour tonight - it is my first bb and I already love it. I didn't have any of the problems others had except that maybe the vibrate is a little on the low side but I might be able to adjust it.
Anyway I am trying to setup my gmail account. After reading the different methods I want to use the IMAP one. I was following some instructions that I read here and online enable IMAP in gmail, to go into the BIS webpage on my comp and set it up - do not enter password and get to the stage where you manually enter the server information.
I got this far but when I enter my email, password, email-server, and email address, I get an error message saying:
"Cannot connect to email server or invalid servername.
Please verify servername. If the error persists contact gmail.com (your email provider)"
Any help is appreciated - I'd like to get this up and running asap.
