i had a curve then got the storm and hated it had no stand by..

holding the mute on the tour puts it in standby like the curve..

when i press the standby, my phone locks itself and I have to enter a password to get in. highly annoying. and I can't find the setting to correct this.

your hitting the lock button.. u have to hold the mute button (top right)... otherwise check your security options --> general options for password timeout setting

Yea cuve didn't have a lock button and the mute was top left on it.
