i cant view anything on my screen. i have tryed connecting to my computer via blackberry desktop manager but gives me the message of "cannot communicate with the connected device". is there anyway i can do this without repairing the screen?

Have you tried using the HDMI port to connect to your television? This is an exact duplicate of your screen. Although I suppose you still need an input device... perhaps a Bluetooth accessory but without access to your screen to set it up, not sure how you could go about that..
