I am a new BB user and Tour owner.

I have been unable to figure out how to set my Tour to play a tone, to let me know that I have voice mail waitting.

Any help to this would be appreciated.

I don't think you can. You just get the new vm notification icon at the top of the screen.

You could always subscribe to Verizon's Visual Voice Mail. Great app, and it does provide notification on-screen and plays a sound.

The only notification is the text message Verizon sends, but you could try and create a custom "tone" for it - if you add the number that it comes from (I believe it's your own number)

Since you're new, another cool tip for Voicemail is to go in to the Phone options, and save your voicemail password so you never have to dial it again!
