contract after the Tour comes out? Not for a new cust. Can get the curve now on 2yr for 8.88 at Wal-Mart but wanting a 1 yr so that I can wait for Tour price to drop and bugs to be fixed and upgrade 10 mos after its out.

I agree. Any answer would be pure speculation. Heck, I doubt that even the carriers at this point know what they will charge down the road.

Trying to guess what any carrier will do is like herding cats. Your guess is as good as anyones here. Decide what YOU need and go with that.

Check back closer to the release date, but who knows how much it'll actually go down. I don't think the curve's price went down with the release of the storm on verizon but I could be mistaken. Also, the tour has closer specs to the curve than the storm
