I was planning on buying the Tour today. So, I went to the Authorized Verizon Retailer in my town today instead of driving the 20 minutes to the actually VZW store. Anyways, they were selling the Tour for $269.99 with a 2 year contract, and then $100 mail-in rebate. I also have the $100 credit towards a new phone for having a contract for 2+ years...

I just thought after looking on the VZW website I was going to see $199.99 and end up getting the phone for free after rebate.

i paid $275 off craigslist. its always a gamble but i've had it like 5 months with no problem before you buy i hope you know VZW will be realeasing as new BB soon. a new version of the tour basically.

Haha, yea.. I guess that all depends on your definition of "soon". My phone has been on its last legs for a couple months and I cant even get through a day on a charge without use. I have talked to people in person that own the Tour and they seem very happy with it.

yeah the tour is now a solid phone all around. it had it bugs at first. thats another thing to consider,the new BB could be buggy for a bit.

the first time $275 with 100 mail in rebate...went back 20 some days later and they let me use the BoGo deal to get one for my dad, so that was free. Second time $275 with $100 mail in rebate (no insurance had to use a new every two) third time $90 smart enough to put insurance.

God help me if i lose it again, and thankfully smrtguard has a free version now to help me with this

I got my Tour free. I had so many problems with my Storm where Verizon swapped out my Storm for the Tour. Best phone I have ever had so far is this Tour!

Currently here in my area, all vzw stores have them for 99.99 w/ a two year contract. I paid 279.99 for mine, because I originally purchased a storm 2, but traded it for the tour. But the Tour should be about 99 bucks at the Big Red store.

I paid $150 in 1/2010. Found it on Craigslist. Phone was booted up when I met w/ the seller. I made sure to call Sprint and check that the ESN was clean!
