Sorry if this question sounds a little n00bish, but I'm coming from an LG vx9900 which holds 50 or 60 sms messages max in the inbox. I've never used a BB before so I was curious to the limit of sms messages that the Tour's inbox could hold.

I can't give an exact figure. But I've been able to have alot more than 50 or 60 in my curve and I would assume the Tour is the same if not better.

I've gone about 3 months at a time without deleting any, and its not because i have to but because I just figured it be better to delete ones that I didn't need.

my blackberry 8703e currently has 869 stored, and it is only taking up 297.8k of space. Considering that the tour has has 256MB of space, I'd imagine you'd be able to hold many thousand SMS with no problems.

umm seriously speaking this wont be a issue..

there is a huge difference between a dumbphone and a smartphone..


I have every text message I have ever received on my storm..

which isn't really many but its a a couple hundred..
