    On my homescreen, when I get messages, it doesn't appear. However, if I press the menu key and go into the advanced menu when I have a message I see the little red star.

    Yea I meant yes. It says yes but still no red star with messages. Unless I'm unplugging it after using the blackberry desktop thing.
