i was setting up my mail on the new tour the other day and noticed something odd. on my old curve, when i set up gmail it defaulted to pop. i could manually input the settings in BIS for imap, but i found that caused problems w/ my gmail labels and filter handling. so i stuck with pop.
in setting up the tour, whether i did manual or automatic setup for gmail, both gave me the imap server settings by default. no matter how many times i've tried, i can't seem to get the BIS to take the pop settings for gmail. anyone else have problems with or a solution to this issue?
not exactly sure wat u are asking but if solved it, more power to u!
but if not try going into setup wizard and setup email. there is a gmail email u can add to your blackberry device from there.
