My blackberry tour 9630 is unblocked but it is still associated with Verizon BIS Server. How can I disassociate it with Verizon so that I can associate it with my carrier

The original owner to whom the BIS is attached needs to contact Verizon to have it removed from their BIS.

Actually I got the phone as a gift from a friend some time back I wasn't using it before
Am in Kenya and am using another carrier I called ma service provider and they told me to contact Verizon but I don't know how I was just lukin for another way to do this is necessary I can't get in touch with the previous owner and how do I contact Verizon ?

You won't be able to do it yourself. Only the original owner can.

But you can try contacting Verizon. Contact Us | Verizon Wireless They mostly likely will not assist you since you are not a customer.
