    The 9630 (Tour) while being a great phone is not capable of being a Hotspot. You need a phone with 7.0 OS or higher.

    Not only does the Tour 9630 not have the correct device OS for WiFi Hotspot, it also does not have a WiFi radio (hardware) that would be required as well.

    So there is no way for this to happen.

    Doesn't Matter
    If you have OS 7.1 on it and your carrier allows or you are paying for hotspot just turn your wifi on and then turn on hotspot.

    Within the WIFI settings the option is there, 'mobile hotspot'. But you have to converse with your carrier to add the feature...

    I figured it out! Cone t the bb to PC through USB cable and click black berrydek top optiontoconnect to Internet through phone. Al's go t settings and putn your carrier on the first field! Pie of cake!

    Translation: I am not using it as a wifi hotspot as I found in desktop manager if I'm plugged in with a USB cable there is an option to use the phone as a modem. My carriers setting were there to choose and it was a piece of cake.
