Hotmail software buttons don't work?

I recently got the 9630 from work and am really using it for the first time. I tried to get to Hotmail via the browser, which sort of works great. Except none of the software buttons (Send or Cancel) work. The cursor just remains an arrow as if it was over plain text. Links work fine, the cursor changes to that little hand and I can click it. But I can't send an email because I have to press the Send software button and it's ignored. Help.

I can get work email fine since it's hooked up to Exchange somehow and that's built in, but Hotmail isn't.
