It's been going from white screen with the black hourglass thing, ten to the black screen, red light, then the process starts all over again.

Try removing the battery and plugging it into the charger and powering up without the battery. Once its powered up just remove the charger to reset it. Put the battery back in and start it up one last time. Should start up.

If your device is taking 1-2 hours to reboot, it's defective and you need to return it before before other things start malfunctioning.

try the OS first....then return if that doesn't fix....this has been fixing a lot of lagg and restart issues with Tours.......

You're advising the OP to try to fix a factory problem by loading beta software. I think a 1-2 hour boot time is a little more than just lag. It sounds more like hardware to me (internal components, or battery problems).

To the OP: If you do decide to try a fresh re-load, definitely try re-loading the stock OS before you even consider putting any kind of beta OS on your device. Make sure you perform a true wipe first with "JL_Cmndr, Crackmem, or BBSAK".
