Hi,

So I'm on my 2nd Tour with Sprint and as soon as I called the International Services I had asked if I could get my phone unlocked because I was traveling over seas, so the lady had told me to do the

Options-Advanced Options-Sim Card- Type: MEPD and if it said "Disabled" then my phone was unlocked and if it said another word, I think it started with an "A" then my phone was locked.

So my Sim Card says : Security Disabled

ID: 19-Digit Number
Personalization:
Sim: Disabled
Network: Disabled
Network Subset: Disabled
Service Provider: Disabled
Corporate: Disabled

I haven't tried using a different carriers' SIM Card with my Tour but is my phone Unlocked?

Yes, your phone is unlocked if the NETWORK field says DISABLED.

Also try searching next time. There are many threads answering this question already.

It is, but the OP stated in their post that they got it unlocked because they are going overseas...

I guess my quetion should be...The Tour has a SIM slot for GSM? That's good to know, I hadn't checked it out yet since I am on AT&T.

Yes, the Tour has a SIM card slot. It's a world phone.

I'm thinking they're still sending them out unlocked. Just got a new replacement on Tuesday and it was unlocked right out of the new box.
