Default HELP: Please make sticky how to downgrade from 5.0.0.591 Won't boot!

Updated to 5.0.0.591 yesterday and had to reinstall my apps, seemed faster, battery life tanked.

This morning l pulled the battery, seemed like I wasn't getting SMS's.

Now it gets to the Verizon screen and hangs... 30 min so far, tried 4 times.

I need to get back to the latest version before 5.0.0.591. I don't have time to mess with Verizon as I leave on a trip to India in a few days.

Try doing another battery pull. Its possible it will fix the hang you are experiencing.

Or try re-installing the OS.

That was the reason I posted. I don't know how to do an OS reinstall.

Thanks!

Now I know HOW, but where do I find the previous OS file to use with the uploader?

A family emergency popped-up so I took the phone back to Verizon and they swapped it out for a new one.

I couldn't afford to be without a phone.

I'm glad the problem is resolved but the issues you had could have been very easily fixed by using the search feature to search the CB forums for the information you needed.

Please spend a little time here looking at what is available, the resources here are absolutely AMAZING and, also, very entertaining.
