I have an old 9630 laying around that my teenage cousin asked if he could use. I told him if he could get it unlocked it was his to keep. Well he was unsuccessful he has the MEP code but entered it in wrong. he thought he had to press enter after each digit so needless to say the phone is now hardlocked. So I told him I would ask around online. So here I am.

Is there any software I can use myself to cable unlock this phone. Don't worry about the process being difficult as I am a IT Engineer. Unfortunately I work with servers not cell phones. My cousin wants to use this phone on T-Mobile. It's currently a VZW phone. So ANY Software I can use to cable unlock this phone on my own?

You need to find a shop that offers DM3 unlocking. They will need to physically access the device via the USB port in order to reset it. You cannot do it yourself.
