First off I am a total black berry newbie so I would need step by step instructions. I can't even find where on my phone to download verizon's backup assistant! There has to be an easy way and no I am not computer savy so I just want to download my contacts to verizons backup assistant! PLEASE HELP!! Thanks

I don't believe that you can use Backup Assistant on a BB.

Connect your BB to your PC using Desktop Manager and you can backup your contacts that way or you can sync them with 0utlook or Gmail.

I cannot help you with Gmail as I have no experience. I am an Outlook user.

I have seen many thread on syncing with Gmail. Try a search and you should find what you are looking for.

I am trying to do it now but I dont care about syncing any gmail contacts as I dont have any...I only want to find a way to transfer my tour contacts to a Motorola droid???

Not sure but I think you could sync the tour with gmail, then sync the droid with gmail and you would get your contacts?

BB doesn't have the backup assistant you can backup on the desktop manager and if you are having issues transferring from one device to another the store can help you.
