I want to download .491 onto my blackberry and don't know how. I tried updating os before and it crashed so i dont wanna do that again! i have .591 but its horrible! i read that .491 is better with everything including batttery life which mine currently is terrible! Any help??? i have a mac btw not a PC thanks!!!!

As far as installing via Mac, I did some quick research and doesn't look like it's done very easily, if at all.

Do you not have any friends who have a PC? You can get something used cheap that should work.

A windows emulator could work theoretically, although I've never messed with a Mac much.

Those are your only options that I know of.

Did you update to your carrier's official OS or to a leak or OS from a different carrier? Did you use DM, or a windows emulator?

I think using your carrier's official OS works fine through DM even on a Mac, but that's not the OP's problem..

The OP is trying to install a non-verizon OS on his/her device, which can't be done via DM on a Mac.
