I need help getting rid of a facebook notifications icon. I do not have any new comments or messages from FB that I havent check and the notification icon is still on my screen. Please advise, thanks

Since your new to crackberry, I'll give you the best advice you'll ever need to know when it comes to your blackberry.

Pulling the battery out for 30 seconds will cure 99.9% of the odd quirks you may come across with your berry.

yup, same thing happened to me one time and a simple battery pull solved that issue.

I've tried that and doesnt work. This happened when my BB shutted down to reboot on its own. This trick use to work for my old Pearl but not for my Tour.

go to your inbox and click on the "u" button and it should take you straight to it.

go to the facebook app and go to your notifications. click on the top where it has the date and click mark prior opened.

i just had this problem about a week ago..and yes, the problem was some comment notifications that never showed up (kept getting "unable to load" error)..so i deleted the two comments and the little fb icon disappeared. Battery pull didn't work for me either.
