Just wondering if anybody else is having this problem- When I press a number or letter, it always comes up double for the first one. For example, if I am at the home screen and press an "H", it would show up as "Hh" and then I will have to delete one of the characters. Is there a fix for this?

Some suggest the key repeat rate might be too high - Options/ScreenKeyboard/ find and alter that setting.

Or with the phone ON, remove battery for 40 seconds, restore, reboot and see if that fixes it.

I was having a similar problem, especially when typing out an SMS or Email to someone. I would get double letters, unwanted capital letters, and punctuation. "Dropping" my key rate seems to have corrected this problem. I was at medium fast, but normal works better for typing accuracy.
