I'm a little confused with backing up using Blackberry Desktop. Will all the files on the memory card be backed up also, like all the music and videos?

A DM Back up will backup your Contacts, Emails, SMS, Settings and all other information on your BB.

It will NOT backup your 3rd party apps, themes, or media on your SD card.

For the media, install the Roxio add on available through either the BlackBerry.com downloads section or on your original install CD.
