head phone jack problems

i like to listen to internet radio when im in my car, the other morning i unplugged the adapter and im not sure what happened but when i left work and tried to plug the adapter wouldnt go in the the hole. it was like something was blocking it. i have insurance on the phone but its worthless.
is there a way to fix this?

Try suck it using vacuum cleaner, there might be dust accumulation, tissue fibre, and any else that is tiny

i looked inside the hole and it looks like the inside pulled up when i unplugged the adapter to go into work. not sure how that happened since it pulled out smooth. is it hard to replace the head phone jack?

headphone jack replacement? it will replace all of the mainboard

if that is the case then why do they sell them on line for around 3 dollars? im confused
