I just traveled overseas with my brand new tour and am having some issues getting google maps to work. I am "roaming" on the BEL PROXIMUS - vodafone 3G network. The SIM's been activated for overseas use, got the necessary plan changes, etc. For some reason the phone won't pick up satellites for the GPS. It keeps saying timed out, or your location could not be found.
Any thoughts on why this might be happening?
My gps is enabled for location on and also the location aiding is enabled. I am in a hotel now, is it possible I just need to be outside to get the sats?
