It's particularly funny in this day and age when corporate branding is so important to the carriers. They give you the new hotness in BlackBerrys but it advertises their arch rival in the CDMA game. And with Sprint trying to turn things around. They compete for exclusives on new phones, score a coup by getting the Tour at the same time as Verizon, and then ship a mis-branded one.

You know maybe that is why verizon informed the public the other day about loosening their hold on phones. The released an antitrust message 2 days ago or so and now sprint phones with verizon cases.

same thing happened to me! They gave me a 50 dollar credit for it! It works fine and definately has all Sprint hardware. I was told to wait until its been out a while and then they can just have someone change out the Verizon plate with a Sprint plate.

One day and there's nothing wrong with the phone itself. I love the Tour, will have to get use to the keyboard. Really shows if you use a keyboard for a long time (almost a year on a Curve) anything else feels weird. Nothing else about the phone I dislike. Was gonna send it back but then I would be on the whole 5 - 8 days thing all over again. I see it this way, the phone is 99% Sprint, like driving a Camry with a Lexus symbol!
