Well, I got so tired of the mms thing....audio playing after a call etc. I went back to 47. I uninstalled all OS's on PC, cleaned registry, went into hidden files and folders, deleted all remnants of previous associations of Rim. Wiped phone with BBSAK, updated Dm, downloaded official VZW OS via PC, of which I did OTA in the beginning, and reloaded vzw 5. and hoped for this mms BS after a call to stop. NO GO. Same crap. So back to 47, and everything running great. Only thing I miss is the boot screen on 5, and the fast loading of pics on mem card. I had previously thought I found a temporary workaround on this mms thing, but it started again, so here I am. Last, but far from least. I have battery life again. Ive heard an update is in the works, but for now im staying with 47.

Why don't you try another carriers 5 os or a hybrid. I've used .419 with driphter v8.2 and sprints .484 and is pretty solid.

Im seriously debating on that. And the very things you have mentioned. May give it a shot.

I'm using sprint .484 and it works great. Used it before updating to .591 and after about a week of dealing with that failure of an OS I went back to .484. All the benefits of 5.0 without the drawbacks of that crap verizon released.

5.0's been slow for me. Starts out fine everyday. By noon it's lagging. Specially when trying to DL anything.The spinning clock pops up constantly.
