My guess is check the actual messages folder. This happened to me when I had my storm and that was the problem.

The same thing is going on with mine. It's been like this for about a week. I've checked everywhere and done battery pulls, etc. and nothing is helping.

This happened to me with my messages, the only thing i did was back up my phone, delete my messages and reinstalled the back up. this helped after two tries. nothing else worked for me...

If getting another message sent to you, then clearing that doesn't work, try another reset. If it persists a wipe may be needed. I had that problem severely with my storm.
