last night while trying to unlock my phone, i accidentally pressed emergency call and my phone dialed 911. i aborted the call before it dialed, but it still managed to put my phone into emergency call back mode. i've done a search here as well as in the manual and i've found that the usual way to exit this mode is simply by placing a normal call. when i try to call out, i am prompted to exit emergency call back mode, but it won't actually exit it (i can call out normally and receive calls, but i'm not getting emails/bbms).
i've also tried multiple battery pulls and resending service books to no avail. i called up sprint bb tech support and they claim that all i can do is a hard reset. obviously i would rather not do a hard reset if not necessary, so does anyone have any ideas on how to get my phone out of emergency callback mode?
