Exclamation Email Not Working

For a while, I switched to Android from my Blackberry Tour. But I finally switched back because I liked Blackberry a lot more, but when I try to set up my email, it says that it is set up, but there is no home screen icon for my email, and I can't compose new emails.

Anyone have any idea what's wrong? I did reset my phone to factory settings so it is basically brand new, and I put in a SIM card from my Sister's blackberry that she is not using (also a Tour).

Also I am on a Data plan with Sprint, just replaced my Evo for my Tour today.

1. On Sprint BlackBerry devices, the SIM card is not used for service so that's not part of the equation.

2. Did you change your data plan to a BlackBerry (specific) data plan?

3. Did you activate the device on the Sprint BIS?

4. Did you send the Service Books?

Log in to the Email Settings icon on the device.
Press the Menu button.
Select Service Books.
Click Send Service Books.

Guys, I found a much easier way to accomplish what i was trying to do. I was only trying to remove the IT policy from my old company phone. All i did was download desktop manager software 6.1. Connected the phone to desktop manager and went to the ? (help button) in the upper right hand corner. Navigate to Support Resources>Support Tools. Select "Reset to factory settings" and its all automated from there! The only prerequisite is that ur on BB OS 4.3 or newer.
