    I have a question about my email alerts. I have it set on Vibrate and the ring tone is set to silent, but when I receive an email, it vibrates, then makes a "ding" alert after it finishes vibrating.

    How do I make this ding go away?

    I have looked all through the settings and can not find anything.

    The profiles are currently royally screwed. Try creating a custom profile instead of editing the default ones.

    Go to Options - Ringtones/Alerts - Messages - Choose your e-mail account and select silence for alert volume.

    The volume is on silent, but I am still getting the alert after it finishes vibrating. Very annoying, and not cool for meetings.
