    I was trying to find someone in a company directory during a phone call. It said to type in the first 3 letters of the persons name, but how do you do that with the blackberry since it doesn't have the letters associated with the number buttons like the cheap phones .

    A better solution is to hold the Alt key and type the letters. Alt BOB, for example.
