Download progress in browser
I recently discovered that while downloading a file in the native BB browser, hitting 'back' or navigating to another page no longer cancels the download. My question is, how can one return to the downloads screen to view the progress? I can't find any info on this.

Hold the BB key until the list of running apps from the background pops up and just click the browser icon.

Wow! I never knew you could do that. I'm going to have to give this a whirl... Mine has always canceled before. What OS build are you running?

Unfortunately the app-switch suggestion doesn't work for me on 5.0.0.732. It just brings the focus back to the browser (ie, it does nothing).

I suspect that there isn't currently a way to return to the download progress screen. RIM probably rolled out the 'browse while downloading' feature a bit early, without having implemented other aspects of it yet.

Every blackberry browser is able to check ongoing downloads. Just enter about:download in the address bar of your blackberry u will see ongoing downloads
