I have two email accounts on my Tour, gmail & bellsouth. Everything has worked seamlessly until Bellsouth (AT&T) recently made some changes a couple of weeks to their webmail application now going through yahoo.
I also have gmail (webmail) setup to check my bellsouth account.
When someone sends me an email to the bellsouth address, I will get it immediately on my BB. About 10 mins later I will get it on my gmail webmail, and again on my BB. I am only getting doubles on my BB, not in gmail webmail.
I want to be able to send mail from my BB & from gmail as either address which is why I have both accounts setup on both applications.
Ok, I have changed a setting under 'Email Reconciliation' that has seemed to fix the problem. I changed 'On Conflicts' to 'Handheld Wins' instead of 'Mailbox Wins'.
Not sure if it actually fixed the problem or is just a work-around that prevents double emails.
