just bought one and some sellers said that their sprint tour has clean esn?? does anyone know how to verify it??

and what happen if the esn is not clear/?

cause im going to unlock this phone and use it with another carrier...

call Sprint, give them the ESN, they will tell you. Usually you check before you buy. Good luck

Exactly what cjjeffers said. You call Sprint and have them run the ESN.
If it's not clear, you can't activate it. If you are going to unlock it and use it on another carrier... You can't jump between CDMA carriers unless you have a hook up to add the ESN number to their list.
