The Niagara is basically a hybrid of the Curve 8900 mixed with the Bold 9000. I dont have exact specs on the devices but you can get that by doing a google search. The Niagara looks sweet! I have the Curve 8900 also and its an awesome phone. Definatly some improvements over the Older Curve model 8330. Are you in the market for either?
From BlackBerry to Android and Back To BlackBerry. Thank you to the Bold 9930, which also brought me back on Verizon!

Screen size is the same though? I thought 9630 screen was slightly bigger.

Guys, definitely disregard what devinH is saying. This is one of the dumbest statements on here. This, coming from an ATT customer, so we know he has a some biasness, and he has an 8310, which is obviously both cheaper and cheaper looking than the 8800/Bold series, and he says the 9630 looks cheap? LMAO.
I am not Neo, but I am still the 1.

There are a lot of differences between the two, but personally, the keyboard layout is the most major difference.
I really prefer the Curve-style keyboard (ala 83xx and 8900) compared to the 88xx/Bold-style keyboard. I would've wanted the separated keys on the 9630 to make it PERFECT!
Who's on board with me on this one?

The 9630 is the 8830 replacement, so it makes sense to have the Bold style keyboard. It is not a Curve replacement/upgrade.
The 89xx series is the 83x series replacement.
That being said, it is pretty much a Storm with phyisical keyboard. I think the dimensions are almost exactly the same between the Storm and Niagara. The casing is almost exactly the same. The screen comes from the 8900 series (same pixel count) while using the Bold style keyboard (which is exactly what you would expect with an 8830WE replacement). - 03-30-2009, 09:00 AM #18

i prefer he curve keyboard but... has anyone tried the that keyboard coupled with the case-mate smart skin? That is the best feel for a keyboard I have EVER felt!

Gar... Is the fact that the keys are close together really that big of a problem?

i doubt its a big deal. I triedthe 8830 and although I had a preference for the curve keyboard, it wasn't bad either way
