Just installed WeatherBug from App World and my Berry restarted. Then, during the boot-up phase, it displays the message "Reload Software 552" There is a picture of a file folder with a slash through it. What happened and how can I fix it?! I tried a real battery pull and ended up at the same place.
Have you ever backed up your phone? If you haven't, it sounds like you'd wish you had.
Try connecting your BB to Desktop Manager. If it detects your BB, back it up. Then try launching Apploader and see if you can remove Weatherbug from there.

Shouldn't have to return it. Worse case scenario is you have to reload the OS then do a restore from your backup file. You will lose your 3rd party apps unless you did a 3rd party backup, but in your case losing the Weatherbug app is a good thing.

Try the first suggestion, that will be easy. If that doesn't work and you don't feel comfortable with tinkering, then by all means bring it back, just don't tell them it happened while installing a third party app. You never know how they are going to react to that.
First, thanks to all who provided suggestions. It is dead. My computer would not even recognize the unit. Just got back from Verizon and they gave me a new Tour, no problem. Bummer that my apps were not actually backed-up. My data was, thankfully. Guess I will be loading apps well into the night.....
