I've been trying to add my contacts for over an hour now and it adds about 20 and then it says "connector specific error"

Best Buy said they couldn't transfer them because they didn't have the software or some lame reason. Has anyone else had trouble with this?

Is there another way to transfer them?

I would try A) a different cable and B) different usb port

Also, if you are using a laptop, it might help to plug the laptop into a charger. The laptop might not be suppying the full 5.0 volts the BB is expecting from a usb port.

When Best Buy did mine I took my USB Cable with me from my winmo phone....they downloaded my info into the Genie while using my USB cable and then connected the cable from the storm to the genie and loaded the contacts/calendar info....hope you have better luck!
