Cannot update Sprint 9630

I just bought a sprint 9630 (finally got the right one) and am having trouble updating it to OS 5. Currently it has 4.7.1 Bundle 110 on it.

I followed the faq that you have here and deleted the vendor.xml file and still get the same message.

"This BlackBerry® Device Software upgrade includes new features and significant enhancements to the BlackBerry® solution and, as such, is only available to users with an active BlackBerry subscription. To learn more about BlackBerry® service, please visit www.blackberry.com/service."

Any help would be appreciated.

Is the device active on the Sprint BIS?

I had a windows 7 phone and activated it on the website this morning.

Aha! Found the date was off by a day. Fixed it and now it updates!
