well now I'm having issues trying to update OS's tried two different ones, first via apploader and DM, both apploader and DM not picking up the new OS's...

I tried installing reinstalling x.x.x.57 as well as 5.x.x.230, even tried reinstalling DM/Apploader, looked for a few fixes on it, tried and still nothing ... any idea's ?

I was having a similar problem and found a post that instructed you to launch AppLoader from a command prompt. http://forums.crackberry.com/f3/how-...ckberry-32322/

Once you navigate to loader.exe (C:\ProgramFiles\CommonFiles\ResearchInMotion\Appl oader), the command to launch it is: loader /nojvm

    Good luck.

I'm having the same issue as well. When running the loader.exe, once it hits "Connecting to boot rom," my Tour turns off and never turns back on. Thus, I am unable to finish the OS upgrade.
