Can,t Browse With My Blackberry Tour 9630

I just bought a blackberry tour 9630, I have subscribed for my data plan with one of my country's carrier MTN Nigeria but I still can,t browse with it I have made several call to MTN customers care but they have not been able to bail me out of this problem yet.Apart from making normal phone calls the phone is of no use to me. This whole thing is driving me crazy. I don't have access to Internet and ''Activation Required'' is showing on the screen is this what is stopping me from gaining access I am really confused I done all I can to remove the activation required, and also getting access to the internet but to no avail. Is their a setting I have missed out Please I need help.

What I have Done So Far

1. I went to OPTIONS-MOBILE NETWORK-DATA SERVICE CLICKED ON still nothing happen.
2. I have gone to OPTION-ADVANCE OPTION -HOSTING ROUTING TABLE- CLICKED ON REGISTER NOW AND SEND nothing happened.
3. I have removed my battery countless of times and restarted the phone nothing still happen
4. Finally I reformatted And still nothing happened.

Am having the same problem too. Mine is Storm... took it to my service provider but was told it was data locked. I do not understand..
