I don't get what's going on with my tour but all the sudden the browser stopped working and/or works pretty slow, at first I thought I was the connection but bbm and msn messenger both works perfect.

I think maybe I downloaded some app that changed some setting.

Now I downloaded Bolt and it works so once again is not the connection but the interesting cases is that if I keep Bolt open the BB browser works ok but if I close Bolt it stop working.

    Any suggestion?! Thanx

Dont know what the problem is but i would start by something simple like a battery pull and see if it fixes your issue.

I am having the same issue with my new Blackberry curve and after pulling the battery out numerous times and having my provider do every reset available, I was finally told by my provider that the problem was with Blackberry itself.

    Can this be true?

Go to Options/Mobile Network/Menu key/Update Profile. You should be good to go after that.

Yeah, that's weird... I don't have that option either. Maybe it's because 12MaNy is running .42?

The option was there with the stock OS too. Might be network determined.

I also believe it is network determined. Must be another way to do this.

Question where it says network selection mode , do you have an "automatic" option?

I live in a 100% full coverage 3G data zone, so I just keep it on Home Only. I change it to Auto when I travel.

I live in a full 3G coverage also and dont travel much. Is there any benefit to putting it on "home only" vs "automatic" ? I would think not , unless im missing something.
