I bought my new tour on Saturday. less than 2 hours later I stared receiving weird sms messages from 11801222269 Titled: //BREW:0104FBCoZ.. is this junk messaging? How can I block it? I showd the guys at Verizon and they said they didn't know what it was. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I just got a Tour a couple weeks ago and had the same thing happen. What it is, is you must have had mobile email on your old phone. You've got to call Data Support (1-800-922-0204), tell them your getting "brew" messages, they'll know exactly what your talking about, and have them unsubscribe you from mobile email that was on your old phone, then the "Brew" messages will stop.

I have this same problem on Sprint this is my first phone on this contract I left T-mobile for Sprint and no one seems to know what I'm talking about when I say "Brew" messages. No one else I know is getting these...
