Blackberry (Tour 8630) Calendar Problems

I have the Tour 9630 and for some reason when I try to schedule events for 2012, they do not save into the calendar. Has anyone else encountered this? I'm still able to schedule events for 2011.

I have no trouble doing this in advance when I had my Tour as I recently upgraded to the 9930 but as long as I can get to say Feb. 2012 and hit the BB key and New Event I could do so and can still do it even though it is not active but I use it for certain things as a backup.

Same as Jaguarr, I am not having any problems adding an item to my calendar for 2012. Are you going to the month and then the date in the BB calendar and then setting the appointment?
