Blackberry curve 9360, screen line, HELP!

I am a first timer Blackberry user and just bought a brand new blackberry curve 9360 4 days ago. after that, a line from my screen appeared. can somebody help me to determine the cause of that line in my screen and how to fix it?

also, i'm having some problems with the battery. i would need to charge the phone twice a day for me to maximize the features of the phone. what would be the best way to save battery life?

I love this phone so much that i am contented with the features and all. I would really appreciate any advice from all of you. thanks.

You have posted in the wrong sub-forum. This is a Tour 9 6 3 0 sub-forum
Does that line appear in a specific situation or always? If always,it could be dead pixels and you need to return your phone for replacement.
Try updating to the latest os version 464, that is posted in the curve 9350/9360/9370 sub-forum. That could mostly improve your battery too.
