I want to put some TV episodes on my Tour for a plane trip and am obviously going to need a bigger memory card. What's the largest size that it will work with? How much should these run?

Also, being on a Mac, I'm just dragging the music files out of iTunes onto the desktop and then sending them to the Tour via Bluetooth. Doing this creates a ".m4v" file for the TV shows. Will the Tour play these files or do I need to convert it?

The Tour will support a 32 GB card, but as far as I know they're not out yet.

Your correct that it supports a 32g card, but your wrong when u say their not available. They are available they are just hard to find and very expensive.

Yeah, I know Samsung has been developing them, and was Toshiba the other one? Anyway, a 32gb sd card would probably cost you about the same price as a retail Tour, so 16gb is the way to go right now

I'm almost certain that you'll have to covert it.

HERE is a list of supported video formats

Video format support: MPEG4 H.263, MPEG4 Part 2 Simple Profile, H.264 (encoding and decoding 30fps), WMV

All of my m4v files for my iPod Touch are MPEG4 Part 2. I encoded most of them myself from DVD's using Handbrake. My downloaded m4v files from iTunes work as well.

cheapest 16gb new I have found is 47 shipped on ebay... unless you can find a used deal or a special at an electronics store.

    The biggest you can use is 11mm x 15mm x 1mm.

Hah. But really, 16 gb at the moment. SanDisk plans on starting production on a 32 gb later this year "sometime".

Personally, I'd rather spend $52 on Amazon than $47 on eBay, so this is the one I picked up: Amazon.com: A-DATA MicroSDHC 16GB Class 6 Turbo With SD Adapter 16GUSDHC6 (Black): Electronics

I agree. Much safer on Amazon.

    And look, it's only $40.

    Amazon.com: SanDisk - Flash memory card - 16 GB - Class 2 - microSDHC: Electronics

I buy memory all the time from ebay. Never had a problem. Just buy from a reputable seller.

Well, I don't buy from ebay sellers that sell used stuff. The ones I'm talking about are people that have ebay stores or w/e. Same thing as that accessoryOne place on Amazon that is selling the charging pod. And I thought that was 40 w/o shipping. But still, to each their own. Amazon does have great customer service though if you want to return something I must say. I wish we could get a group buy or something for sd cards, I remember doing that for car parts on my nissan from a forum back in the day . Do group buys ever happen on crackberry?

And that is why I bought an 8gb.

I can't see much use for anything bigger than that. Once I get over 500 songs or so I lose track of what I have. I just move stuff back and forth between the PC and BB.
