I just changed from a hybrid to straight .643 and so far my battery life has been better. I would recommend you try that one out. If you are going through two batteries a day, a different OS won't fix that, but it will help.

How is the radio/signal with 643? I went back to 624 after some hybrids and have had good results, but never tried straight 643.

I'm currently running us cellular's 5.0.0.484 (801) and it sucks! Its an absolute resource hog, the menus lag when running apps, I get the "waiting" clock every 30 seconds, and it sucks my battery horribly. Can you run a verizion OS on a us cellular tour?

.732 isn't bad on Verizon. The signal is better than .643.

I came from .643...I found them pretty much identical other than reboots on .732 don't seem to drain the battery as much as on .643
