Hi Y'all,

Was speaking to a CSR for Business this afternoon. FWIW, when I asked when BELL Mobility was going to release BB NIAGARA, I was advised, "rumor has it that Bell (Canada) will be releasing it in JUNE '09" !!

So, not only did I get a date, I got confirmation that Bell would be carrying the Niagara !!

Too bad it's not May, but I'll settle for June.

But June isn't that far away. I'm gonna say Bell in June, and Verizon August.

I would expect Bell and Telus to get the 9630 long (well, by long, I mean a month or so) before any carrier in the US gets it.

If Bell is getting it in June then verizon will probably get it in August, hopefully before end of summer

i've switched my vote over to 5/18 release.. based on verizon ending their BOGO on 5/17.

i guess they could wait a week or two after BOGO ends, but im gonna base my vote off of wishful thinking rather than realism =).

is it still true verizon will be carrying the the pearl flip or no? because it seems they are trying to clear out pearl inventory. so they could possible be getting the pearl flip when the bogo ends? i would love to still see a may release of the 9630 but i highly doubt it im getting so tired of waiting!

Part of the Pearl "clearing out" may be the switch from ESN phones to MEID phones and not related tothe Pearl Flip at all.

I still have no idea is bell will have niagara by June but will find out as soon as end of may to get confirmed that bell and telus will get this one for sure !

FYI: Bell will be releasing a device by mid to end of June. as to what it is, it hasn't been decided yet. There are talks that RIM and Bell might push out "a new curve" first due to the fact that the 8330 was the best sellling BB that Bell had.

Didn't we already know that Bell was getting the Niagara along with Telus? atleast I knew that a little bit back. Telus CSR are telling people June as well but unless they givve me proof I'm not sharing I had that headache with the storm!! lol!!
