Default BB9630 Restored itself to An Active Number

Hi All, I purcahsed a Unlocked Sprint BB9630 to use on GSM network in india through a reseller. CDMA number was cleared on it and i had absolutely no problems using it on GSM until i forgot the keypad lock and was left with no other option but to wipe it by applying wrong pw 10 times.
The phone reset itself to factory settngs and to my surprise now has active CDMA number on it which wasnt there previously. whenever signal on my GSM goes low it switches itself to CDMA. though i have now put the phone only in GSM mode but want to get rid of this cdma number.

i tried contacting the seller but he has no clues wot so ever for this and says he got the phone in a state in which he handed it over to me.

can someone please suggest how can i get rid of it. i am in india.

Any help here would be greatly appriciated.

Open up the dial pad and dial ##000000 and press send. This will take you to the CDMA Service Edit Screen and you can delete it from there.

overwrite it with all zero's 000-000-0000

000000 is not the MSL for sprint phones and thus it says "Invalid password" when i do that.
